Every once in a while, a sex toy comes along that actually manages to reinvent the wheel. It wasn’t so long ago that we didn’t have a significant selection of toys to choose from. The sex toy industry seemed to work in waves: someone invents a new type of sensation and then others spend a couple of years mimicking and possibly refining that design. Wash, rinse, repeat.

There have been a number of products that have come along to make us come that have found a place in the hall of fame of sexual pleasure. We-Vibe. Fleshlight. Rabbit. Magic Wand. I honestly did not think this possible other than through prostate stimulation. It Isn't a Perfect Toy, Though

OK, let me state a couple caveats here: the Pulse doesn’t always stay in place on its own and it isn’t the easiest to turn on. When it comes to positioning, I think it really depends on the shape and girth of your penis. Sometimes it goes on and stays on for me and other times it slides to the side, particularly when used on its highest speed. To fix this, I have to gently hold it in place and other times I just turn over and use my bed to hold it to my frenulum happy spot.

The force it takes to activate the unit is the more troubling issue. The Pulse is soooo close to being a truly accessible sex toy. Unfortunately, turning it on and manipulating the controls can be a challenge that does require some hand strength. I hope this is something Hot Octopuss looks into for the next version.

Strokers are fun and all, but the I have never experienced pleasure quite like what the Pulse gives me. It belongs in that hall of fame, and I'm sure it will get there some day.
