The Products: Fleshlight Launch, Stoya Destroya Fleshlight & OhMiBod Fuse
The Verdict: (out of five)
The Launch is basically your standard-issue Fleshlight masturbation sleeve on steroids. Slip the genital mold of your choosing into the device (sold separately) and you’re in for some fully automated and totally interactive play. I’ll admit, the toy is intimidating at first glance. It’s a substantial beast that my partner likened to one of those 60-second wine chillers. (Not that I’m opposed to on-demand cold beverages.) I was silently glad that he was sticking his genitalia into the daunting device and not me. All I could think of was the urban legend of the kid who got his penis stuck in the vacuum tube. Umm, nope. My partner did not have any previous Fleshlight experience but based on some straight-up, lubed-up manual play with the sleeve, it was clear the addition of the Launch device would take beating off to the next level. I am not a penis-haver, but I saw what 180 automated, hands-free strokes per minute can do and it made my mouth and right hand happy. (You don’t have to go full-tilt jerk off mode if robo-mode isn’t your thing.) Sorry Carrie Underwood, who needs Jesus to take the wheel, when you can let go to the Launch?
As for the Fuse, it’s a dual-stim Bluetooth-enabled rabbit vibrator – only better. It’s made of the silkiest silicone material, and the rabbit part, which in other rabbits tends to be motionless and just jabs my clit, glides and jives with my genital curves. I appreciated the flexible movement of the toy, but the highlight was a shaft that hit my G-spot just right. In the case of most rabbit vibes (OK, vibes in general), the shaft and “rabbit ears” don’t always line up. I get it. Every vulva has a unique blueprint and when it comes to designing sex toys, it’s nearly impossible to create a universal, one-size-fits-all device. The Fuse fit me just right, though. It was like someone knew my vulva’s anatomy and crafted the perfect rabbit vibe for me.

We then downloaded the FeelConnect app to connect the toys via Bluetooth and explored webcam and video content. Synced to porn, it provided a realistic POV experience. If we had VR goggles, we would’ve coupled it with VR content. I’ve played with my fair share of remote controlled sex toys, and it can be very arousing to hand over that power to a partner. This is different, and in my opinion, way better, since it’s a two-way street in exploring sexual pleasure. I could control my partner’s orgasm and he could do the same. We could also share visual eye candy, which is such a turn-on. I love seeing what gets a partner hot and bothered. It’s as close as I’ve gotten to giving and receiving simulated, real-time stimulation from a partner.
What I Loved About Playing with the Fleshlight Launch and OhMiBod Fuse
As much as I love solo and PIV sex, connecting with a partner via tech for mutual masturbation is super-hot. Although we still have more exploring to do, I’m intrigued by these toys’ many play options. So far, I’m a big fan of the Fuse’s touch-sensitive capability, which responds to skin and internal contact. We synced our devices to Spotify for some bass thumping fun; Fleshlight strokes can also be synced to videos and VR content.
Seriously, the possibilities and sexy scenarios are kind of endless. I also love that my partner chose Stoya Destroya for his Fleshlight. I’ve gotten off to the brunette goddess Jessica Stoyadinovich more times than I can count, and it tickled me that he was able to experience every bump and texture of her inner canal. While he played with her, I thought of her – I’m sure you get the idea.
What I Didn’t Love So Much
I’m beyond impressed at what these paired products are capable of. Their specs on paper (or screen) are phenomenal. That said, the user interfaces on the necessary apps to use them aren’t as intuitive as they could be. The printed instructions that came with the Fuse were helpful; the Launch ones, less so. I’ve played with more sex toys than I can count – many with remote, app-based features. My partner is an engineer. I’d like to think we’re intelligent humans. But even after reading all the manuals and watching the instructional videos, when it came down to it, there was a pretty steep learning curve. The Fuse was easy enough to operate on its own, and pairing the devices wasn’t too difficult. But we ran into speed bumps navigating the Launch. The buttons are hard to find, so there’s no clear way to tell if you’re controlling it properly. We finally figured everything out, but it took some time ... not saying it wasn't worth the trouble, though.
If you’re a couple wanting to take sex toy play to the next level, I highly recommend giving this combo a try. The interactive elements alone are worth it – especially since it can be operated from any distance. I’m also looking forward to sharing the Fuse app with other partners. I’m especially partial to lying side-by-side in bed and controlling my partner’s pleasure – OMG. It’s beyond sexy to maintain eye contact and know that you’re making all their below-the-belt magic happen. But if I can’t have a special someone beside me, this is the next best thing.
