It is hard to believe it's 2015. It was nice to kick 2014 on the ass as it departed. Now, in this new year, let’s set our goals high! A New Sensation

A new year can bring with it lots of stress and tension. Expectations and responsibilities can challenge us and wear us down. Sure, it's easy to be on a sex education website and say "have more sex if you want to relax and feel good!" We all know it isn’t necessarily as easy as that. Maybe you can try something new that can produce some of the same great feelings of sex, but isn’t necessarily sexual in nature.

I remember first hearing about Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response from posts by porn director Nica Noelle, but I didn’t really understand it. This article on ASMR did much to clear up my own confusion about this technique of using sound to bring on sensations and reaction throughout the body. Sounds very intriguing!

New Techniques!

To be clear, analingus isn’t for everyone. Some people will not get passed the idea of applying their mouth to someone else’s ass. That's okay. If you’re looking to head around back for an intimate experience with someone’s butt, Jai has some fantastic tips to make rimming a mind-blowing experience! If you follow tip number 4 literally, it’ll be an ass-blowing good time!

Talking About Porn

It used to be that parents had the one BIG sex talk with kids (hopefully with many others interspersed as well). Now, it is impossible to avoid the elephant on the screen: porn. As fabulous sex educator Cory Silverberg notes: kids are likely to come across porn shortly after they start accessing your computers and devices. As as this letter points out, that is a troubling situation for many parents. Silverberg reminds us that not only do parents have to address sex, but they have to have the porn talk. That talk can encompass so much more than just sex. His advice on the subject is spot on. It's an excellent discussion for families to have.

Past Years Provide Valuable Lessons

Maybe it's because I am literally looking at a few sex toys while I type this, but I consider them to be pretty much commonplace. They get mentioned in movies, on television, in songs, and in casual conversation. Hell, some people even use sex toys as objets d’art in their homes. So, to think that just 30 years ago then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher considered banning sex toys. Now, 30 years is a long time in the advancement of positive sex in society, but considering outlawing dildos and other toys to "protect public decency" is absurd. Sex toys have been around as long as there have been people. Banning them would be completely obscene.

Sometime a Toy is Just a Toy

Whether or not Freud actually uttered the infamous quote about cigars is debatable. However, it does ring true. As you move on in this new year you should consider stepping back, hearing what people say, and truly listening to it. You will, hopefully, avoid misunderstandings and misconstrued meanings. Kinda like the parents who have freaked out over the Play-doh’s Cake Mountain Playset they bought their wee ones for Christmas. It seems that the holiday was RUINED by one piece of apparatus that looks a fair bit like a penis. Really, I’m not going to argue. It looks like a hollow dildo with a hole at the top. If I bought it for my kids, I’d have probably thought the same thing. The difference is, I wouldn’t have cared because they are kids and penises aren’t the scariest thing in the world! Was there a Barbie or a toy gun under that family’s Christmas tree? Maybe a suitably unassuming video game like Grand Theft Auto? The toy looks like a cock. Big deal. I bet the kids didn’t even notice.

That New Diet You Were Planning…

So many people start diets as the calendar changes. Be sure to check the legalities of what you’re planning to include in your new diet. Authorities in China recently cracked down on breastfeeding sex work. Sometimes clients just indulged in milk fun; sometimes the transaction involved sex as well. Being a proponent of sex work, I’m glad to see that women who are able to lactate are using it to its fullest. Breast milk play is really hot. Being able to produce breast milk for eager clients is, usually, a short-term proposition. So, I hope they made the most of it and earned well before they were stopped. Trust that hunger isn’t going to go away for those clients.
