Definition - What does The Catherine Wheel Position mean?

The catherine wheel is a sex position in which the man and the woman sit facing each other, and the woman wraps her legs around the man's waist until he's penetrating her. To support herself, the woman can lean back with her hands and hold herself up off of the bed or floor. The man supports himself on one elbow and wraps the opposite leg around her torso, thereby locking her in place.

This position is also known as pinwheel.

Kinkly explains The Catherine Wheel Position

In order to thrust, the woman can push with her arms, and the man can guide the movement with his hands on her waist or knees. Mastering this sex position can take some practice, so couples shouldn't get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. Remember - practice makes perfect! And it's worth the effort; this is a position couples can really get wrapped up in!
