The Catherine Wheel Position

The catherine wheel is a sex position in which both partners sit facing each other. The receiving partner wraps their legs around the giver's waist while being penetrated. To support themselves, the receiver can lean back on their hands and hold themselves up off of the bed or floor. The giver supports themself on one elbow and wraps the opposite leg around their partner's torso, thereby locking them in place.

This position is also known as pinwheel.

In order to thrust, the receiver can push with their arms, and the giver can guide the movement by placing their hands on their partner's waist or knees. Mastering this sex position can take some practice, so couples shouldn't get discouraged if it doesn't work the first time. Remember - practice makes perfect!
