Polytrothism

Polytrothism refers to egalitarian relationships involving more than two people. It is differentiated from other practices of polygamy because that is shared equally among all persons within the relationship. It is not matriarchal or patriarchal practices that rest authority on the central female or central male. It is like a love commune where each person has a say on issues that affect the relationship.
