Phobophilia refers to a love of the feeling of fear. This particular paraphilia is largely psychological. It deals with an emotion rather than a physical presence.

Kinkly explains Phobophilia

Individuals that have phobophilia have a sexual attachment to the feeling of fear. For the phobophilist, feeling fear is linked to feelings of sexual arousal. Psychologically, the feeling of fear initiates feelings of sexual arousal. These types of individuals are often referred to as adrenaline junkies. The paraphilia can be harmless if the individual does not progress to requiring serious danger to satisfy the feeling of fear.
