When air gets in, you inevitable lose some of the tightness and then you have to squish it out. It makes the whole experience far less enjoyable when you're mitigating functionality instead of just enjoying the sensations. I found this little air hole particularly useful when I tried the Chrysm away from The Handy, and just used it with my hand. I wanted to feel how the sleeve reacted to a variety of pressures.
