The lace is really pretty, and I’m not quite sure HOW it’s made or secured, but it doesn’t seem like it’ll move or tear or snag or anything. The paddle has a bit of cushion, but is really firm, and makes a really nice noise. ;) It had a slightly chemical odor when I first opened it, but that went away fairly quickly. Overall very satisfied, and feeling pretty sexy (I paired it with the Midnight blindfold and pearl nipple clips, and am very happy with the entire purchase--they’ve made for some really fun nights!)
