How to Set Up the Edge Extreme Under the Bed Restraints?

While the Edge Extreme Under the Bed Restraints can seem a bit complicated to set up at first glance, we promise: it's easier than it seems! Taking a quick glance at the image above can help you visualize how it fits onto a bed - and it's easier than it looks! This product can be set-up in less than 10 minutes.

While we recommend doing this with a helping partner, it can be done solo as well if you're planning a surprise.

First, lift up or remove your mattress. Fully removing the mattress will lead to the least strain during set-up, but if you have a helping hand and are working with a small bedroom area, lifting up the mattress can work.

With the mattress out of the way, slide the large, center, connecting strap underneath the mattress. Ensure it lays flat.

Take the time to ensure each one of the six bondage points is laying outside of the mattress area; it should be easy to access each one of the six bondage points once you place the mattress down again. Lengthen (or shorten!) the large, center connecting strap as needed to get the six bondage points where you want them surrounding the bed.

That's it!

Simply place the mattress back on top of the large, center connecting strap, and you'll still be able to access the six bondage points that are now laying outside of the mattress.

Lengthen - or shorten - each one of these bondage points to get them where you want them to lay on top of the bed. When you're ready, attach your bondage gear (like cuffs, collars, and more!) to the D-rings on the end of the bondage points.

What Bed Sizes Do the Edge Extreme Under the Bed Restraints Fit?

Designed to fit most bed sizes, almost every strap on the Edge Extreme Under the Bed Restraints is fully adjustable in length. Make straps shorter, or longer, to perfectly fit your mattress size and your partner's height.

The center, under-the-bed strap that all of the bondage points attach to is 66" in length with a strap width of 1.5". From the tip of the left O-ring to the tip of the right O-ring on the opposing side, the set has a total wingspan of 132".

To measure out if this will work on your mattress size before purchase, use a 132" piece of ribbon or yarn. Tuck the middle of the ribbon under your mattress (where you'll be placing the Edge Extreme Under the Bed Restraints) and let both ends of the ribbon poke out on both sides of the bed. Have the partner you plan to restrain lay on top of the bed and get into the position you'd like to restrain them in. Now pull both ends of the ribbon to the spots on your partner's body where you plan to use the restraints. Repeat the process with the other partner if you'd like to take turns.

If the yarn/ribbon makes it comfortably to those spots, the Sportsheets Extreme Under the Bed Restraints will fit your set-up! (If there's a lot of excess ribbon, don't worry. You can individually tighten up all of the straps to get things under tension!)
