Panromantic individuals are those who are romantically attracted to individuals of all genders and sexual identities. This romantic attraction does not necessitate a sexual attraction.

Individuals who identify as panromantic seek out partners for romantic reasons as opposed to sexual incentives. A romantic relationship can include intimacy, companionship, affection, and be completely asexual in nature. For an individual that identifies as panromantic, the gender of the romantic partner does not have an effect on the relationship. Many individuals who identify as being asexual will identify as being panromantic although some identify as being aromantic asexual.
