Solosexual

A solosexual is someone who finds arousal and sexual release in masturbation while having no interesting in engaging in partnered sexual activities. The reasons for this may stem from anxiety surrounding the risks that come with partnered sexual activities (ie possible STI exposure and pregnancy), social anxiety, or a simple preference for one's own sexual company.

There is some debate as to whether solosexuals are part of the larger umbrella of asexuality because some believe that "true asexuality" involves a lack of any libido whatsoever. Others believe that asexuality is defined as the lack of sexual attraction and sexual arousal towards others.
