Neutrois is a non-binary gender identity. It has many different definitions. The most common definitions are explained as genderless, gender neutral, neither male nor female, or agender. Neutrois falls under the umbrella of genderqueer. There is no one definitive set of characteristics that makes someone neutrois.
Individuals who identify as neutrois may experience a feeling of dysphoria in regards to their external sex traits not "matching" who they are; and they may choose to transition to a physical presentation that feels more comfortable for them. This may include the use of a more ambiguous name, using gender neutral pronouns, the adoption of a new outward appearance, and possibly even surgical alteration if the individual sees fit.
