The symptoms of clitrodynia may be intensified by different activities for different people. This can include extended periods of sitting, exercising, sexual intercourse, or even wearing tight clothing. The causes of clitrodynia can include clitoral trauma and systemic illness. It can also be caused or intensified by stress. The condition can be managed by over-the-counter medications and physical therapy. The symptoms can also be managed by some minor lifestyle changes which might include wearing looser fitting clothing or standing rather than sitting where possible.
