Felching is a slang term for the act of sucking semen out of any human orifice. It most commonly refers to the act of sucking semen from the anus following anal intercourse. However, it may be done following any type of sexual intercourse or after a man masturbates or receives a hand job.
The Argot of the Homosexual Subculture, written by Ronald A. Farrell in 1972, hosts the first noted use of the word "felching" in print. The term gained popularity in literature of the 70s and 80s.
Felching is also known as fletching, coprafelchia, and truffle hunting.
More About Felching
Felching typically occurs when people suck semen from their partner’s anus, rectum, or vagina. This may be done with the mouth alone or with the aid of a straw. When a straw is used, the practice is known as shrimping. Some people also like to kiss after felching to pass the bodily fluids into their partner’s mouth.
Felching is similar to yoghurting, although this practice involves scooping the semen out of a human orifice with a spoon.
While technically a form of felching, some people like to distinguish the act of sucking semen from the vagina by calling it creampie eating.
While semen is safe to ingest, felching can also cause unsafe substances like lubricant and feces to enter the mouth. For this reason, many people prefer to only felch if a person’s body is clean, if they have douched, and lubricant has not been used. Even if this criteria is met, felching cannot be considered safe sex. Studies also suggest that people who enjoy felching are more likely to engage in other high-risk sex behaviors, thus exposing partners to a host of health complications.
