Massage oil or, more specifically, sensual massage oil, is used for sensual massage as part of foreplay. Massage is a sensual and relaxing form of foreplay, but massage oil can elevate the experience by adding lubrication, fragrance, and even sensation.
Some massage oils are simply oils to help reduce friction and create a relaxing sensual massage. However, many massage oils have additional benefits. Some are flavored (and edible), while others can make the skin warm or cool on contact. Some people find that these different sensations help to increase arousal.
