Daddy Dom/Little Girl

Updated: MARCH 31, 2022

Daddy Dom/little girl (DD/lg) is a type of power exchange relationship within BDSM. In this type of relationship, the Daddy Dom tends to play a father figure, and represent a Dominant that is more on the gentle and nurturing side. A little girl is a submissive who often identifies with an age younger than her chronological age and behaves like a child in specific situations or exhibits childlike characteristics . In this type of relationship, the Dominant is seen more as a guide and nurturer, while littles are seeking both guidance and care. Littles in these relationships find entering "little space" a way to destress and return to a more carefree time in their lives.

It is important to note that DD/lg relationships occur between consenting adults in the form of role play; they do not involve children. Age play may be a part of the DD/lg dynamic, but not always.

More About Daddy Dom/Little Girl

While the term Daddy Dom/little girl is often used for a male Dominant and a female submissive, this type of relationship is distinguished by the nurturing and gentle Dominant partner and a submissive partner with childlike characteristics and/or habits regardless of gender. These types of Dominants are known for having looser protocols and being, at times, more permissive with their submissives, much like a parent might be with a child. So, while other forms of power play may involve punishing a submissive, DD/lg dynamics may be more focused on correcting their behavior with consequences like going to bed earlier or being denied a treat. These relationships also include rules the little must follow, such as making eye contact, avoiding swear words and doing what they're told. This form of power play may also be more playful and less serious.

Submissives behave in a childlike manner during activities like coloring, bathing, and meals. They may also display childlike mannerisms by giggling, whining, talking back, or using baby talk. While DD/lg can include age play within the dynamic, it is not a requirement and many participants choose to keep the sexual aspect of the relationship separate from any childlike behaviors. As with all D/s power exchanges, every DD/lg relationship is unique to the individuals who may or may not exhibit all of these characteristics.
