Female-superior position is a sex position in which the female (or receiving partner, regardless of gender) partner is on top. There are two main variations of this position. One lying down, like in the missionary position, and one in the straddling position.
To achieve this position, the receiving partner is lying down on top of the penetrating partner face-to-face, like a reverse version of the missionary position.
The alternative version of this position has the receiver sitting back like cowgirl position.
In this position, the receiver is in control of the pace and the depth of penetration.
