Sarah Stevens is an independent scholar and educator whose work focuses on pornography, feminist theory, and sexual pedagogy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Film and a Bachelor’s in Specialized Studies with major concentrations in Women’s and Gender Studies and Theater Performance. A public intellectual and lecturer, she has appeared on Sex City Radio and has presented her research across the United States and abroad including at the First and Second Annual Feminist Porn Conference, the Lesbian Lives Conference, and the Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Ally College Conference. Her writing has appeared in scholastic journals like The Communication Review, a forthcoming issue of Porn Studies, and in 2013 she was named her Alma Mater's Outstanding Queer Studies Graduate Scholar. In addition to her work as a young academic, she works as a sex educator at your local sex shop.
