Winter is here and it’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well ... for a few weeks, at least. Otherwise, it’s cold, damp and dark, and with all the busyness and holiday stress, it can be hard to keep things warm in the bedroom. Thankfully, we’ve got some ideas to help you keep the heat going through the winter nights.
Did the title suggest this piece would riff off of "Game of Thrones?" Don't worry; we're getting there. Now, if you're a "Game of Thrones" fan, you probably already know that the final season of the show won't drop until the summer of 2018. But that season is currently being filmed, and if there's one show that has the power to inspire some very hot sex, GoT might be it. So, we've decided to take some inspiration from the world of ice and fire to provide tips on how to stay warm on the coldest days. There is more winter coming, but you can come too (and we highly recommend it!).
Do Something Unexpected
Remember that classic GoT scene when Jon Snow takes Ygritte into the cave? Although he is a virgin and she is not, he shocks her by giving her some pretty mind-blowing oral sex, something no man has ever done to her before. He just “wanted to kiss” her there (that’s our kind of man!). Using that as inspiration, spice it up by doing something unexpected … in a good way! Try a new sex position, surprise your partner with a new sex act or bring a toy to the bedroom. If you’ve never used a sex toy with your partner (or even if you have), let the SenseVibe Warm join in your winter wonderland. It heats up to body temperature, is flexible, and has both internal and external vibrations for maximum pleasure. (Hint: Penises respond to vibration too!)
Play with Temperature
Sure, it’s cold outside, but the GoT book series is technically called "A Song of Ice and Fire," so why not bring a little ice into the bedroom? Try rubbing an ice cube over your lover’s nipples, down their back, or wherever you think will make them shiver with anticipation. Afterward, make sure you go over those areas with your breath to warm them back up again. Hot wax is another fun way to play with temperature; just make sure that wax isn’t too hot! Burns are not sexy. Or, take a steamy shower together. The hot water - and your naked bodies together - will warm you right up.
If there’s one thing we love to watch on TV, it’s waiting for romances to unfold: for the two characters that you want to see together finally, FINALLY kiss each other; to see them passionately embrace and enjoy each other after weeks (or months, or years) of yearning. Why not do the same thing with your partner? Build the tension slowly with them: quick little kisses, a graze of the hand, a certain look in your eye. Slowly escalate throughout the night, until you can’t stand it anymore. The buildup of all that tension will feel even better when you release it.
One of the most classic love stories in "Game of Thrones" happens between Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo. Drogo is the head of the Dothraki, a warrior people known for their brusque, brutal ways. As such, the men are always the dominant partners in sexual situations … until Daenerys is taught by one of her handmaids that she should take control of Drogo. Sure enough, when she decides to be on top and dominate him, he goes wild. Their relationship becomes one of respect and love, as they now understand each other. switching up the usual dynamic with your partner can be super hot. Give it a try!
Of course, even if you don’t have a partner, that doesn’t mean you can’t warm your own bed this winter! The men in the Night’s Watch, after all, are sworn to celibacy. The SenseTube from SenseMax is a vibrating masturbation sleeve with multiple options - it can even be paired with virtual reality porn! You’ll never go back to manual masturbation again. (And you'll never have to deal with winter-cold hands either!)
If you use a traditional vibrator, the SenseVibe Warm is the best thing for your winter needs. It quickly warms to your body temperature, and its flexible tip allows you to make sure it finds the exact right spot to make you quiver.
Winter might be here, but keep you and your partner coming and you'll be warm until spring.
