When you want to get more creative, an additional snap clip and D-ring hang off the front of the Bastion. How Does the Liberator Bastion Compare to Standard Stocks?
"Standard" stocks are traditionally made out of hard, firm wood. They feature cut-outs for the neck and wrists, and they may have chains, locks, and D-rings built into the wood itself.
Comparatively, the Liberator Bastion is made from two panels of high-density foam covered with a moisture-resistant liner. This foam holds its shape very well, but it provides a slight bit of plushiness and softness when pressed against. (If you're curious, this is the same high-density foam Liberator uses in all of its sex furniture shapes; you can look at other Liberator product's pictures to see the light compression the foam has when a person's full weight is laying on top of it!)
The Bastion's soft, plushier edges are better for the intimate conditions most of us use our stocks in. You can lean in to kiss your "captive" without feeling the sharp, angular edge of a wooden stock pressing up against your own bones!
Since the Bastion is made from sturdy, supportive, high-density foam, it's also much, much lighter than its wooden counterparts. Especially for people who dislike heavy pressure on their collarbones and shoulders, this can make Bastion a lot more comfortable for marathon pleasure sessions.
We especially recommend the softer, high-density feel of the Bastion for couples who may be concerned about wrist and neck nerve compression or damage. Wooden stocks have sharp edges that can press into the exposed nerves of the wrist or neck as the captive gets fatigued. With the Bastion, the softer, plushier surface offers diffused pressure against the wrists and neck while worn.
The Liberator Bastion does not allow for the captive to be locked in. Instead, most of the fastening points on the Bastion are clips and velcro. If a "locked" experience is desired, locking wrist cuffs could be used, but it still will not provide the same security as a wooden BDSM stocks that can lock onto a partner.
What Bondage Points Are Available on the Liberator Bastion?
The Bastion features three separate bondage points to give you the freedom to live out all of your bondage fantasies.
Both wrist holes have a bondage point attached to them. This makes it easy to ensure your captive really won't escape by adding wrist cuffs to the captive's wrists alongside the Bastion. (Two wrist cuffs are included to make this super simple!)
In addition, centered in the middle on the edge of the Bastion, next to the head hole, is a third bondage point. This bondage point just begs for a leash, but it also can work with any other kink gear (including as a fastening point for nipple clamps ;) ).
All bondage points include a clip connector (designed to work seamlessly with the easy-fasten clips of Liberator bondage gear!) AND a D-ring. This D-ring allows you to use Snap Hooks to connect any of your other bondage gear to Bastion.
If you already own Liberator cuffs, the snap clips are fastest, but the D-rings ensure the Bastion never gets old; you can always pair it with whatever bondage gear and fantasies are running rampant in your mind right now!
