The Teeter Totter Position

The Teeter Totter sex position is an intimate, face-to-face, seated sex position in which a rocking prop is added for movement, adventure, and excitement.

Models shown using Liberator sex furniture. In this sex position, one partner straddles the Liberator Scoop Rocker, while the other sits on his or her lap. The giving partner can then gently rock the sex furniture shape to add movement to the play and subtly change the angle of penetration.

To get into this sex position, the penetrating partner takes a seat towards the middle of the rocking sex prop. They may need to spend time trying to get their balance. Once they've gotten to a comfortable, balanced spot on the Scoop Rocker, the receiving partner can slowly lower themselves onto the penetrating partner's lap. This may involve the penetrating partner moving slightly forward or backward to find the new balance point now that there's a second body.

Trying to get into this position too quickly will likely lead to toppling backwards. Part of the challenge of the Teeter Totter position is to maintain your balance throughout the sex position, and the hardest challenge will be during the initial set up.

Although this position looks pretty basic, don't be fooled - the rock-and-roll motion makes this an advanced position designed for those with stamina, balance, and a sense of adventure. That said, it's definitely worth the effort because a minor change in positioning or angle can have a major impact on pleasure.
