Gender presentation is someone's outward appearance as categorized according to the male/female gender binary. It includes characteristics such as body language, clothing choices, hairstyles, and tone of voice. Some terms often used to describe the gender presentation of others are masculine, feminine, butch, femme, macho, androgynous, male, and female.
