Masturbation Sleeve

Masturbation sleeves vary widely in terms of price, function and quality. There are, however, a few key types available.

• Simple Masturbation Sleeves: This type of masturbator tends to be the simplest and least expensive of the bunch. In most cases, it is a basic sleeve with a textured interior with few other design features. These tend to be lightweight, easy to flip inside out and clean, and relatively inexpensive.
• Realistic Masturbation Sleeves: This type was popularized by Fleshlight and consists of a manual masturbator with an opening that resembles a vulva, anus, or sometimes even a fantasy orifice, such as that of an animal or fantasy creature. Masturbators molded after famous people or porn performers are also common.
• Disposable Masturbation Sleeves: This type of masturbator tends to be small, portable and designed for single use. As a result, the material is thinner and stretchier than other sleeves. The benefit of this type of masturbator is that it does not need to be washed.
• Hands-Free Masturbation Sleeves: This newer type of masturbator includes a textured sleeve, but also a plastic case around it featuring buttons and housing internal motors and mechanisms to allow the sleeve to operate on its own. This allows the user to simply hold the device, find their favorite settings and allow the machine to masturbate for them. These devices can be quite sophisticated in their motions, and may also be able to be remotely controlled or paired with erotic content.
• Vibrating Masturbation Sleeves: This type of masturbator is much like the one above only it only includes vibration.

Masturbation sleeves also come in a wide range of materials. The safest of these is pure silicone because it is non-porous and free of chemical additives. However, it may not provide the skin-like, squishy feel of more common options made of thermoplastic rubber (TPR) or thermoplastic elastomer (TPE.) These materials considered body safe, but they're also porous, which means they can harbor bacteria between cleanings.

Materials to avoid include polyvinyl chloride (PVC), jelly rubber and many "cyberskin" or "fantasy skin" type materials. These materials may include phthalates, even when the their labels state otherwise.
