Kinkly explains Atypical Gender Role

Atypical gender roles are displayed by individuals of all sexual orientations and genders, and, therefore, is not specific to any gender or sexual orientation. A female that performs a job that is traditionally only performed by males would be considered to display an atypical gender role. Transgendered and gender variant individuals are also considered to typically exhibit atypical gender roles as they do not conform with the normal masculine and feminine gender roles.
