Auto Erotic

Ever since four wheels of rubber hit the pavement, the roar of the engine ignited our minds, our lusts, and our loins. There is just something about cars that excites people and makes them curious. Could be the curves, could be the power. Or it just might be that cars have long been a portable bedroom for folks who need a place to get laid. Sure, some folks might really get turned on and act on their erotic fantasies, and more power to them! Whatever revs your engine. At other times, sex in cars in a matter of convenience and opportunity.

Dildon't Take Advantage

Yes, Canada has a town called Dildo. Growing up here, there was always a giggle fest when someone would open an atlas with a map of Newfoundland to the town with the very special name. Now, there are various theories on the etymology of the word "dildo," but one thing is certain: the folks of Dildo, Newfoundland take pride in their town. And they don't want it sullied for commercial advertising...even if that advertising is completely perfect. I suppose the townsfolk have a reason to be tense about their name only be associated with sex toys, but a Newfoundland-based sex retailer really does have the most sensible claim to using the town as a backdrop. Hopefully the two can come together, in understanding, soon.

Digital Desire

Ever since the days of Leisure Suit Larry, techsexual inclined people have been looking for ways to use their RAM and hard drives to dongle their data. Video games and online environments can be intriguing spaces to explore your sexual desires and sexuality. Some might deride this idea, claiming that it's impersonal and part of the downfall of civilization. Has technology really devolved our interpersonal connections or, instead, has the way we explore sex through different media just changed to something new? Now, engaging in an online relationship, whether with a person or via game technology, isn't for everyone. If you're interested in experimenting or learning about an alternative sexuality, such as BDSM, the online world can be a safe space to explore your desires.

August and September mark the beginning of another school year for college and university students. Campuses across North America will be teeming with young people ready to learn, experience, party, and, not surprisingly, have lots and lots of sex. This is an idealistic time in many people's lives. Sex is just one of the many things people learn about while they're also completing degrees and theses. Yet in recent years, we've come to understand that there are big problems on campus when it comes to sex. Consent is one of the main themes being discussed and explored at schools. If you have any questions, or would like to share with students heading to school, this is an excellent resource on the idea of consent.

Cannonball?

Are you ready to dive into the deep end? Well, if you're not quite ready, you can stay in the shallow end and still have plenty of fun. Pool sex definitely has its ups and downs, and I don't mean diving and bobbing. Sure, the potential for weightless sex and the ability to experience new and exciting positions is awesome. However, pool sex does come with some health concerns. The chemicals used to treat pools can be harsh to the skin. Can you imagine what it does to tender internal surfaces? Water can wash away all natural lubrication, making orifices prone to abrasions and tears. So, if you're going to deep six for sex, understand the risks before you become overtaken by waves of lust.

Feeding the Pigeons?

Finally, park sex has long been controversial, but the concept blew up even more when senior citizens were arrested for sexytime shenanigans in a Connecticut park!
