Is taking a few birth control pills at once the same as taking the morning after pill?

A: Certainly this may work. However, the estrogen in the pill, when taken in higher doses than normal, might make you a lot more nauseous than the morning after pill. If you’re taking the birth control pill already, then it shouldn’t be necessary to use it as emergency contraceptive.
