I’m making it my mission to honestly test out new sex toys so you don't have to waste your time and money finding the right toy for you. It’s a hard job, but someone’s got to do it! Recently, I gave the Sqweel 2 Oral Sex Simulator a spin. Here's how it went.

Overview

This is one of the only oral sex toys available for women, and it's completely different from every other women's toy out there. It has 10 rotating tongues made of silicone, which are designed to "lick" your lady button at three different speeds. It can also change direction or flip back and forth to provide different sensations. These functions are all controlled by two light-up buttons, which is clever for using it in the dark. The Look and Feel

The Sqweel 2 does look quite strange with its whirling flaps, but that’s what attracted me to it in the first place. I got the pink and white version, which makes it look quite girly and fun. It also comes in black if that’s your thing! When it arrived, I was taken aback with how big it was as I have quite small hands. As a result, I found it quite hard to hold, and it was hard for me to press the buttons. The silicone tongues are quite soft and flexible, so you can either gently tickle yourself or really get some pressure, if that’s your preference.

The Highs

The Sqweel 2 is really easy to use because it only has two buttons and, unlike most other vibrators, you're less likely to press the wrong button and lose momentum while you're in the moment. It's also quite difficult to switch this little toy off by accident when you're having a bit of fun.

The Lows

I really, really wanted to love Sqweel 2. I was so excited to try something completely different. Sadly, this toy left me sore and frustrated. I tried using it on my own, with my finance, upside down, sideways, before sex, after sex. I got nothing. Nada. Zip.

The problem with this toy is that it needs A LOT of lube. That means you have to spend a lot of time slathering that stuff around before getting down to business. Not very sexy! You also need to top up the lube every few minutes to keep the fun going.

I guess simulating oral sex just isn't that easy; turn this up high enough and it'll start snapping pubic hairs, turning the whole experience from pleasant tickle to pure torture. The slower rotations did nothing for me; when I turned up the Sqweel, my clit was left dodging this toy's harsh blows. In the end, I gave up on the Sqweel and went back to one of my old favorites.

For Solo Use

This is most definitely a solo toy, although with all the lube I had to use with it I found that it would slip out of my hands from time to time. In that regard, a second pair of hands might have been useful!

Playing in Pairs

Maybe you're more creative than I am, but I don't see this as a toy for partner play. There just isn't much for your partner to do with this besides, well, hold it, and possibly change speeds. It's a bit like edging the lawn, really.

The Verdict

I felt let down by this toy. Maybe with more time I could get the hang of it, but to be honest, I'm not willing to try. Why deal with pain when so many other toys can deliver pure pleasure from the get go?

That's why I'm giving the Sqweel 2 a single heart out of five.
