Editor's Note: The contest is now closed. Check out the winners, our Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2015. And watch out for next year's contest!

You know what the best thing about running a website about sex is? OK, who are we kidding? There are a lot of perks! But the absolute best part is getting to interact with so many sex-positive people every day. Seriously. You guys are the best!

Sex-positive people are like a really good orgasm; they make the world seem a little better and brighter. Plus, if you're like many people, you've probably been given inadequate or inaccurate information about sex at some time in your life. Or you've been slut-shamed. Or you've been held to task for your sexual orientation or gender identity. Or you've felt ashamed of your kink. Sadly, ignorance and shaming and discrimination are way too common just about everywhere you look.

That's why we're so grateful for - and to be a part of - the sex-positive community. Even though we all live in a culture where sex and sexuality just aren't embraced the way they should be (boo!), it helps to know that there's a whole community of people out there who are unlearning the things they were told to believe about sex and taking control of their sex lives. People who are learning to love their bodies and what they can do. People who are pursuing pleasure on their own terms. And, best of all in our books, people who are writing about it on the Internet!

This year's contest is presented by:
Nominate YOUR Sex Blogging Superhero - Help Us Find the Top Sex Bloggers of 2015
Kinkly's 2015 Sex Blogger Superhero contest is presented by Sexlog, the largest sex and swing social network in the world.

Yup, we're talking about sex bloggers. By shining a spotlight on things that have long been considered unmentionable, by being proud and upfront about who they are and by showing that sex and sexuality exist in a grand and beautiful spectrum, sex bloggers are the unicorns and rainbows in a sex-negative world. Where once there was darkness and dire predictions about hairy palms and teen pregnancies, there is now light (and a growing mountain of information about the benefits of masturbation and safer sex).

We've said it before and we'll say it again: Sex bloggers are our superheroes. And we know we aren't the only ones looking to them for advice. It's why we do our best to feature their sites in our Sex Blogger Directory and our Sex Blogger of the Month feature, and why we link directly to their sex toy reviews in our Sex Toy Directory. It's also why we published and promoted the very best sex bloggers we could find in 2013 and 2014. Now it's that time of year again, and we're on the hunt for the Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2015. We're looking for the sparkliest, most well-loved, most sex-positive blogs out there - and we need your help to find them!

Have a favorite sex blogger you want to nominate? Here's how it works:

  • Find your favorite blogger in our Sex Blogger Directory. (If you'd like to submit your own blog, you can do so here.)
  • Click on your favorite bloggers and click Vote For Me button on their page. You can vote for as many blogs as you'd like, but you'll only be counted once for each blogger.
  • We'll read through every blog with at least five votes and choose our top 100 favorites based on writing quality, posting frequency and sex-positive content.
  • Only blogs that receive at least five votes by October 7th, 2015, will be counted!

At the end of October, we'll announce the Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2015. This year, we'll also break out several categories and crown a winner in each one. Each category winner will receive a prize from one of our sponsors. And, because we want to spread the love around, we'll also draw among all the winners for a grand cash prize of $500.

So, what are you waiting for? Get online and vote for the bloggers that rock your sex positive world!

Oh, and check out this year's awesome sponsors: Sexlog, Doc Johnson, LELO, Liberator and PleasureTease.
