#FreeThePasties

So, if wearing a pair of pasties makes it acceptable for women to bare their breasts in pictures in most places online, how do women feel about them? BuzzFeed asked several women to try pasties for the first time. Their comments and reactions were honest, funny, and mixed.

Of course, one of the women mentioned that she didn’t understand why women had to cover their nipples but men didn’t. BuzzFeed saw this coming and asked a few men to try on pasties. Their reactions were tongue-in-cheek delightful, especially in the way they showed them off on their bare chests. However, we only have to take the women at their words about what they thought about pasties. They tried them on from behind and above-the-armpit screen.

Teaching Children the Beauty of Breasts

There’s nothing wrong with boys (and girls) being fascinated with breasts. It’s a very human and natural fascination. However, teens don’t get the wrong idealization about women’s breasts just from porn; it come from anime, too. So, when I found this article and video about a cartoon kid trying to figure out how to realistically draw breasts on an anime character, I was loving it! It’s a great way to let teens know that women’s breasts are wonderful in all shapes and sizes.

If MILFs Are a Popular Fantasy, Why Aren't They Thought of as Good Mothers?

There are hundreds of women of all ages and relationship statuses that write sex blogs. In fact, far more women write and blog about sex than men. Although any female sex blogger runs the risk of being publicly slut shamed, why do mothers, especially single mothers, run the risk of getting vilified more than other women? It’s something Erica Jagger ponders in a recent post in A Sexy Woman of a Certain Age, Can a Woman be a Good Mother and Write a Sex Blog?

Are single mothers set to higher standards of appearing wholesome and being moral pillars of families? When single moms do their diligence in writing under pen names, do what they practice and preach make them even more morally suspect, especially when their kids find out? Erica raises some great questions.

Is This the Reason That Men Are Called Dogs?

No, I’m not man-bashing, but there are some theories floating around about why a lot of men prefer to do it doggie style. As Frank Kobabla, the male sex writer for Cosmopolitan, sums it up: “It's good for guys' backs, it's relatively safe ... But most importantly, it's just plain and simple sex … nothing rivals doggy style if you want to take all-out banging to 10 … (he gets) to appreciate your own body at its flex-ist (and) seeing the penetration part of sex in action is a huge turn on.”

Who's Having Anal Sex?

Think anal sex is all that popular with women? Think again. Researchers at the National Survey of Family Growth found from 10,463 women that 36.3% of them have tried anal sex but only 13.2% of them had anal sex in the past 12 months. However, the researchers found that there are some types of women are more likely to have and enjoy anal sex more than others. Find out who they are or if you fit the profile here.

The Strangest Sex of a Sex Worker

Who hasn’t wondered what kind of sex that sex workers have? According to one sex worker, it isn’t necessarily about strange positions and role playing. Often, it’s the clients themselves, like the guy who gave her a car in lieu of payment and the guy took her on a business trip but didn’t want sex at all. Sure, she’s had more than her fair share of creepy guys, but for the most part, she says, “Most (guys) are more polite than guys I’ve dated.” Check out this story to find out about more about this sex worker’s on the job sex life.

It's Sex O'Clock Somewhere!

Is it safe to assume that same-sex couples have optimal sex lives? It could be true based on a survey that the UK-based sex company Lovehoney did on finding out the best times men and women like to have sex. For men, it was between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. For women, it’s between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. If you want to get really specific, it’s 7:45 a.m. for men and 11:21 p.m. for women. However, the study found that the most popular time for both genders to have sex is between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. The other suggestion is to have sex in the morning one day and late at night another day. Ultimately, it’s up to each heterosexual couple to split the time difference.
