Good, Giving, and Game

Updated: JUNE 8, 2020

Good, giving, and game (GGG) is a term that was coined by Dan Savage, an American writer with an internationally syndicated sex column. This term is often used to describe individuals who have no problem expressing their sexuality and are willing to try new things. A person who is good, giving, and game strives to be good in bed, enjoys giving sexual pleasure as much as receiving pleasure, and is game for just about any sexual adventure.

More About Good, Giving, and Game

According to Savage, everyone should work toward being good, giving, and game because a healthy and satisfying sex life can be the cherry on top of a loving relationship. Being good in bed and pleasing your partner - or partners - as much as they please you will often result in a more fulfilling private life.

One shouldn't be intimidated by the game part of this term either. As Savage puts it, GGG individuals are usually "game for anything - within reason." Everyone has their limits, and crossing those personal boundaries won't lead to a more satisfying sex life, just an uncomfortable and uneasy one. Remember to never cross your limits and keep your play safe, sane and consensual.
