There are many causes of infertility in both men and women. Infertility in a woman can mean that she is unable to conceive or carry a pregnancy to full-term. In men, infertility usually refers to a lack of movement in the sperm. This results in the inability of the sperm to penetrate the female ovum. Infertility can sometimes be aided by fertility injections. These increase the necessary hormones for a woman to conceive. There is no treatment yet available for men.
