Ejaculation is the ejection of semen from a man's penis. This can be accomplished via vaginal intercourse, anal sex, masturbation, oral sex, or even while sleeping (commonly known as a wet dream). Ejaculation usually occurs along with orgasm, although it is possible for the two to occur separately. On average, men tend to ejactulate about one teaspoon of semen each time.

Ejaculating onto a sexual partner can be a real turn-on for some men. Ejaculation of semen into a female's vagina is also the basis for reproduction.

Ejaculation isn't quite as uncomplicated as it sounds. For some men, premature ejaculation is a problem they face in the bedroom. Plus, there is a bit of an etiquette to ejaculation that must be considered. During intercourse, ejaculating inside a female partner's vagina should only be done if it has been discussed in advance; semen contains sperm, which can lead to pregnancy. If a couple decides to engage in sex without a condom, they must use another form of birth control to prevent conception.

During oral sex, ejaculating into a partner's mouth without prior consent could result in some angry feelings, while ejaculation during oral sex can cause temporary problems with elimination. As such, it is important that partners discuss their boundaries regarding ejaculation before they are put to the test.
